The benefit of volunteering is the focus of an article by reporter Stephanie Hacke in the Dec. 26 issue of South Hills Record, for which Janet O'Brien, specialist in volunteer services at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, was interviewed. "There are 311 active volunteers at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Jefferson Hills," said O‘Brien. “They just bring a lot of enthusiasm. There‘s just a general caring about them.”
Jefferson Regional Senior Services provides seniors personalized attention to connect them with the resources they need, said Blanche Buscanics, community outreach and senior services manager.
