Surgical Departments

Jefferson Regional Medical Center offers a wide range of surgical capabilities with seventeen specialized operating rooms dedicated to specific patient needs. Surgeries can be performed as inpatient or outpatient procedures. Outpatient surgery is performed in a single day with a recovery time of 4-6 hours or less. These patients are “recovered” from local, regional or general anesthesia and sent home all in the same day.
