Ophthalmologists specialize in the treatment of the eye and in protecting vision. They can perform examinations to diagnose problems with the eye or vision. They can also prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses. In addition, they can treat eye problems such as glaucoma, a condition common among people diabetes.

Ophthalmologists can also perform surgery for eye problems such as cataracts, retinal detachments, and macular degeneration. Our ophthalmologists also know how to analyze eye problems as a sign of another disorder such as diabetes, thyroid disease, brain tumors, and hypertension.
