Choosing a Surgeon

Jefferson Regional's Orthopedic Program offers a diverse group of surgeons who are certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery.  Many of the surgeons are Pittsburgh natives; many have trained at leading institutions such as the University of Pittsburgh, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, University of Pennsylvania, Yale University, Georgetown University and others.  Four surgical groups are represented:  Hand and Upper Ex Center, Pittsburgh Bone and Joint Surgeons, The Orthopedic Group, P.C., and Steel Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.  (Surgeon Bios)

Our Surgeons offer a variety of state-of-the-art technical approaches to orthopedic and joint surgery, including minimally invasive, muscle sparing, computer navigation, resurfacing, partial joint replacement, gender specific and patient specific instrumentation.
