Jefferson Regional Medical Center Sponsors Half-Marathon and 5K Run/Walk

The community is invited to take a healthy run or walk at Jefferson Regional Medical Center’s Boston Trail Half-Marathon and 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April 21 in “Little Boston,” Elizabeth Township.

The start and finish of the race will be at the Boston Ballfield Park, located adjacent to the intersection of Route 48 and Donner Street, just off the Boston Bridge. The 5K starts at 9 a.m.; the Half-Marathon start is at 9:15 a.m. The event will benefit the Yough River Trail. Awards will be given by age groups.

Half-marathon and 5K participants who register by April 1 will receive a free souvenir t-shirt. The event benefits the Yough River Trail, part of the Great Allegheny Passage trail system, located along the Youghiogheny River.
