Jefferson Regional Outpatient Testing Center

Jefferson Regional Outpatient Testing Site provides easy access to patients who need to have their blood drawn, an EKG performed, or a urine sample collected. This off-site location, located approximately four miles north of Jefferson Regional Medical Center (JRMC) on Route 51 in Baldwin, has plenty of free parking that is just a few steps from the entrance.

This facility features private rooms for the blood draws, one with wheelchair access. No appointment is necessary but a written order from a physician is required. Patient samples are sent to the laboratory at JRMC for testing. Test results will be sent to the ordering physician in a timely manner, usually within 24-48 hours. Special requests from physicians for calling or faxing the results will also be honored.

The Jefferson Regional Outpatient Testing Site offers a secure restroom for the collection of the Department of Transportation (DOT) urine drug test. The employees at this site are certified in the strict collection procedures required by the DOT.

The staff members at the Jefferson Regional Outpatient Testing Site have all completed an accredited phlebotomy or medical assistant training program.
