The Senior Services program at Jefferson Regional Medical Center has earned national recognition for its commitment to helping seniors in the communities served by the Medical Center.
Amerinet, a leading healthcare group purchasing organization, announced that Jefferson Regional is one of three healthcare institutions nationwide to receive an Amerinet Healthcare Achievement Award in the Community Impact/Innovation category.
Todd Ebert, Amerinet president and CEO, said the award honors those who excel in meeting the challenges of the healthcare industry and delivering high-quality, cost-effective patient care.
“These awards recognize and celebrate members who are innovators, collaborators and leaders,” Ebert said.
Janet Cipullo, vice president, Professional Services and Orthopedics at Jefferson Regional, congratulated the Senior Services staff and manager and said, “Senior Services is in its sixteenth year and this award validates that the program remains vibrant, dynamic and is an innovator in meeting the ever-changing needs of seniors.”
