Stroke Risk Screening
Free Community Stroke Risk Screening for people 18 years and older. No insurance is needed.
This community event is Sponsored by Jefferson Regional Medical Center with clinical support by Duquesne University.
Screening includes:
- Stroke risk assessment survey
- Blood pressure check
- Finger stick blood sample for HDL, total cholesterol and blood sugar levels
- Body fat analysis
- Carbon monoxide testing for smokers
- Educational materials
- Counseling on risk factors
Free flu and Tdap (Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis) vaccines will also be available.
Screenings take approximately 30-45 minutes. Light refreshments & giveaways will be provided.
