The Center is home to physical therapists who develop
exercise-based rehabilitation programs, traditional physical therapy
treatments, and ongoing medical maintenance programs.
In addition to serving Jefferson Regional Medical Center patients, the
Jefferson Hospital Physical Therapy & Aquatic Therapy Center is also
home to programs for personal fitness, sports massage, and athletic
training services for local high schools, junior colleges, and sports
clubs.
The unique Aquatic Therapy program has recently expanded to
accommodate a state-of-the-art pool designed specifically for use in
rehabilitation. Our pool offers a computer-integrated treadmill,
resistance jets, water massage, variable water depths, underwater
cameras for visual feedback, support bars and stairs with a handrail
for easy access.
