Learn about abnormal uterine bleeding and have an opportunity to ask questions about this Women's Issue. Lawrence J. Glad, MD, CCD, FACOG (Certified Clinical Densitometrist, Fellow American Congress of Obstetrician/Gynecologists) will lead this session and provide insights into what treatment options are available.
Mark Davis, licensed nutritionist and registered dietitian, will answer questions about nutrition, the Dr. Dean Ornish program and Highmark preventive programs such as Eat Well for Life and The Spectrum.
Participants are encouraged to bring their nutritional supplements for evaluation. No registration needed.
Construction continues for Jefferson Regional Medical Center’s newly expanded surgical facility at the campus in Jefferson Hills. The community is invited to tour the facility and meet some of the medical staff at an Open House scheduled Saturday, March 10, from 1 to 4 p.m. Free parking will be provided in the Bibro Pavilion lot.

Jefferson Regional Medical Center and Family Hospice & Palliative Care will co-sponsor a free six-week bereavement support program, “Growing Through Grief, Rebuilding Hope,” for those who are coping with the loss of a loved one.
The program will begin on April 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will continue on Monday evenings through May 7, and on Tuesday, May 15, in the Bibro Pavilion at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, 565 Coal Valley Road, Jefferson Hills.
